![]() ![]() ![]() Once I had the entire eastern 2 thirds of the map (surface and underground) the theocrat didn't bother me at all, and I just built up multiple stacks of shrines. They never actually posed a threat though, because the AI never leaves the safety of their towns. ![]() Both were tough to crack though, as by this stage the dreadnought had multiple cannons/juggernaughts/golems and the theocrat had 2 or 3 shrines. I just rebuilt them and by that point my theocrat research was up to shrine of smiting so I just got theocrat buildings at every town and started mass producing those OP as fuck shrines.Īt this stage it was just a formality building up a force to go and conquer the dreadnought city underground, and the theocrat city to the south. For some reason as soon as I got a couple tier 3 units, the dreadnought razed the other two big cities on the crater and retreated underground. Once I had a foothold I kept up production of lower tier units at a couple of my nearer towns while teching two cities to tier 3. You don't need to leave any defenders behind once the swamp is cleared out - bring all forces west. From there I was able to build up a few stacks of tier 1 and 2 units and bumrush one of the 3 main cities in the centre crater circle thing. Considering theres a lengthy campaign and bunch of stand-alone scenarios. Will share my somewhat strange experience on this map:Ĭlearing out the swamp and getting all the Goblin cities is pretty easy (if somewhat annoying due to spy drones). The reality is, most missions in Age of Wonders take a couple of hours to beat. ![]()
